G Gauge Railroad

G gauge (or #1 gauge) trains run on 45mm gauge track and include scales from 1:32 scale to 1:13.7 scale and many in between. While most are electrically powered, others are steam powered with miniature boilers on-board. G gauge trains are readily available from a number of manufacturers and are a great way to introduce yourself to the world of outdoor model railroading.

Northeast Florida Live Steamers has relocated their G Gauge railroad from private property near Bostwick and is currently rebuilding an elevated G gauge railroad at our new home on the property of Florida Agricultural Museum near Palm Coast.  The new railroad will be able to accommodate a wide variety of equipment. The large triple-track layout will be complete with passing sidings and a staging/steaming area. Be sure to visit the Galleries to see our construction progress. We have halted formal work sessions on Saturdays due to the virus threat, but some fewer members just cannot stay away--but they DO maintain social separation!  Make plans to visit us as soon as the virus threat is gone.
